SEN Teaching Assistant

GBP65-GBP85 a day

I am looking to recruit a confident, compassionate and engaging teacher to work across schools that Teaching Personnel have a working relationship with across South East london in particular Croydon. The ideal candidate should possess at least 6 months+ experience working with SEN students, however candidates looking to make the move from mainstream schools will also certainly be considered. Many students across these schools are SEMH Pupils who face a range of behavioural and educational challenges, so particular experience with pupils such as these will be advantageous to the candidate. 

 The role will initially be on a temporary basis, however they are looking for a long-term replacement, so there is great potential to take on the role permanently if desired.

Experience with SEN and specifically SEMH students is preferred but not essential as the school will provide comprehensive training in order to prepare the successful applicant. In addition to this, we at Teaching Personnel offer a range of CPD courses to further enhance your skillset.

We are looking for people who possess the following:

- People with TA accreditation, Ideally Level 3 

- A willingness to adapt and embrace difference and change

- A positive outlook and an understanding nature- a belief in equality is paramount

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

We will pay GBP65-GBP85 a day depending on experience and other factors. We urgently require competent staff for the role so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
