SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are currently working with a ‘Good’ primary school in Prestwich (M25) who are looking for a SEN teaching assistant.You will be responsible for providing ongoing 1:1 and small groups to support and engage a small number of the children within KS1.

Ideally, the incoming teaching assistants will be enthusiastic graduates who are looking to make a career out of education/teaching. If you have a strong academic background and ideally have experience of working as a teaching assistant in a primary school previously or have experience of working with disadvantaged or SEN children. Graduates with school or child based experience would be desirable however not essential. If you are looking to complete a PGCE or further your career into teaching, this would be a great opportunity for you.


The role:

* Develop your knowledge of supporting SEN children.
