Are you seeking a caring & nurting role where you can make a difference to the lives of young people?


A school in Chorley are seeking a TA to support the needs of a pupil with Cerebral Palsy. The pupil has motor and movement difficulties which often result in abnormal movements or movement inhibition.

You will assist with physiotherapy sessions, alongside a trained professional, with a view to encourage exercise and stretching, thus improving / maintaining physical ability and improving movement difficulties. You may also be asked to assist with speech therapy sessions to aid communication.

You will ideally have experience in working with children or adults with SEN and the ability to work on a 1:1 basis, using your own initiative.

The working hours will be 8:30am - 3:30pm, with a 30 minute lunch break.

As I am sure you can understand, the start date for this role may be delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, however, the school have asked us to keep up our recruitment efforts during this time, in order to have staff lined up for when they re-open.
