*TEACHING ASSISTANT - HILLINGDON BASED - PRIMARY SCHOOL - FULL-TIME**
A mainsteam primary school are looking to appoint a strong SEN teaching assistant in Hillingdon for their autism department. The role will be full-time and the school are hoping to have a SEN teaching assistant start immediately.
All children in the school have a EHCP (education health care plan) and are supported either 1:1 or in small groups. Classes are small with up to 6 pupils with responsibilities including supporting children with learning programmes, play, therapy and overall care including personal care (toileting). Due to some pupils being non-verbal teh school use sesory resources such as PECS (flash cards), visual timetables and Makaton.
- Immediate start to July 2022 minimally
- Full-time hours – 8:30 – 4:00 Mondays to Fridays during school term time
- £75-£80 per day (depending upon experience)

- 1:1 experience supporting autism, severe learning difficulties or disabilities
- Available full-time hours either immediately or in January 2022
- Open to supporting children with personal care (training can be provided in-house)
- Have a valid Child DBS which is registered to the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
