Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity where your skills and dedication can truly change lives?
We are urgently seeking three passionate and resilient individuals to join a specialist educational setting in Yeovil from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who are confident supporting children and young people with additional learning needs and are ready to hit the ground running from day one.
The successful candidates will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and achieve their individual goals.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely alongside teaching staff and therapeutic professionals, you will provide tailored support to learners with a range of complex needs including autism, communication difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs, and learning disabilities.
- Deliver targeted classroom support
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Encourage independence and personal development
- Adapt learning materials to individual requirements
- Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
- Support learners both academically and emotionally
What We're Looking For
- Previous SEN experience within education or specialist settings
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication abilities
- The confidence to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
