SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools in Wigan

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our Wigan primary schools, providing essential support to pupils who need it most.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Working 1:1 or in small groups to help children engage in learning.
• Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and adapting learning materials.
• Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a school or SEN setting.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
