Sen Teaching Assistant
Job description
Start date: 21st September
Pay: £95 - £100 per day, paid weekly. (dependant on experience).
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a passionate and commited SEN Teaching Assistant for a Primary School based in Whickham focused on working with pupils who specifically require SEN and SEND support. This is a rewarding role with the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children living with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs in the classroom.
- Assist the teacher with lesson delivery.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Passionate about assisting both teachers and pupils.
- Promote care and proactiveness in classroom.
Requirements:
- Experience working 1:1 with children with Autism or SEND.
- Enhanced DBS or a willingness to obtain one.
- Patient and supportive approach.
- Have a nurturing and patient manor.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
