The Role
You will work closely with the Individual Learning Department (ILD) and teaching staff to support students across a range of year groups and learning needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, anxiety and additional learning needs
- Providing in-class support to help students access learning
- Encouraging confidence, independence and engagement
- Building positive relationships with students
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and behaviour management
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure pupils reach their potential
About You
We would love to hear from candidates who are:
- Experienced supporting children or young people with SEN
- Patient, resilient and adaptable
- Passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning
- Reliable, organised and proactive
- Interested in pursuing a career in teaching, SEN or educational psychology
Ideal Experience/ Eligibility Requirements
- SEN Teaching Assistant experience
- CACHE Level 2, Level 3 or equivalent qualifications
- Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, SEMH or anxiety-based needs
- School, care, youth work or psychology backgrounds
- Experience supporting children with additional or complex needs
