SEN Teaching Assistant - Tameside

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term

Teaching Personnel is working with a primary school in Tameside to find a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. The role will involve working closely with students who have special educational needs, supporting their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support for students with SEN in classroom settings.
• Assist with tailored lesson plans and resources to meet the needs of individual students.
• Support the teacher with the management of classroom behaviour.
• Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to staff.

Requirements:

• Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
• A caring and patient attitude, with the ability to adapt to individual learning styles.
• A level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
