SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Location: Slough
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Term Time
Start Date: Immediate

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established primary school in Slough for a full-time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored, individual support to a child with additional needs in a mainstream school setting.
The Role:

Providing one-to-one support to a child with SEN throughout the school day
-
Assisting with classroom activities and delivering personalised learning strategies
-
Supporting the child’s social, emotional, and educational development
-
Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to implement EHCP targets
-
Promoting independence and inclusion within the classroom and school environment
About You:
-
Previous experience supporting children with SEN, preferably 1:1 support
-
Patient, caring, and reliable with a genuine passion for helping children
-
Confident working both independently and as part of a team
-
Excellent communication skills with children and adults
-
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred but not essential)

Enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
