Position: SEN Teaching Assistant / 1:1 Support
Location: Sandwich, Kent
Contract Type: Full-time, long term (Temp to perm is possible)
Salary: £85-£105 a day
Hours: 8:30-15:30 Mon-Fri

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our thriving SEN schools in the heart of Sandwich, Kent.
Role and Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.

Assisting the Class Teacher in creating and implementing tailored learning plans.

Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Monitoring and recording students' progress and contributing to progress reviews.

Participating in training and professional development opportunities.

Supporting the pupils emotionally alongside their studies.
Experience and Requirements:

Experience working with children, young people or adults with SEN.

A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with students.

A driving licence is preferred due to the location of the school.

Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.

A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
