Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield / Rotherham
Contract: Supply (short-term/long-term assignments with permanent opportunities)
Salary: Competitive daily rate dependent on experience (£93-115)
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our client schools in the South Yorkshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in full-time or part-time positions, with roles set to begin ASAP and continue through to the end of the academic year.
There are currently positions after the Easter break so please do not hesitate to get in touch.
The Role:
- Long-term, full-time and/or part-time positions available, starting immediately.
- Ensuring high-quality support to help all pupils reach their full potential.
- Collaborating alongside teachers and support staff to ensure a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment
- The role will involve various TA duties, including full classroom support, small-group work, and 1:1 assistance.
- Supporting children with various SEND, such as autism, ADHD, PMLD, SEMH, sensory and communication needs.
Requirements:
- Patient, resilient, caring character!
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide at least two professional references that cover the last two working years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
