SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time | September Start | Ringwood
Teaching Personnel are looking for a caring, experienced and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support a lovely Year 3 pupil on a full-time basis from September at one of our welcoming mainstream primary schools in Ringwood.
This child has an EHCP in place and is looking for more than just classroom support – they're looking for a positive, reliable buddy who can help them feel confident, engaged and successful throughout the school day.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with additional needs and be someone who can build strong relationships, show patience and understanding, and adapt their approach to help the child thrive both academically and socially.
What you'll be doing:
✨ Providing 1:1 support throughout the school day
✨ Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
✨ Encouraging independence, confidence and participation
✨ Supporting learning, communication and emotional wellbeing
✨ Being a consistent and trusted adult for the child
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has previous SEN experience (school-based preferred)
✔ Is patient, resilient and nurturing
✔ Can build positive relationships with children and staff
✔ Is committed to making a real difference every day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
