Teaching Personnel is working with a wonderful school in Poole that is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in helping pupils feel confident, supported and able to thrive in the classroom.

You could be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, within small groups or across the classroom, helping them to access learning and develop their independence.

Your day-to-day role may include:

• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.

• Helping pupils access the curriculum and achieve their goals.

• Supporting emotional regulation, confidence and social development.

• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.

• Working closely with teachers and the wider school team.

• Creating a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment.
