Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

What Your Day Could Look Like
- Providing 1:1 and small‑group support, tailored to individual needs
- Confidently moving between classes, age groups, and learning styles
- Supporting behaviour regulation using positive and calm strategies
- Assisting with personal needs, mobility, and sensory needs where required
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a safe, inclusive environment
Who We’re Looking For
- Confidence and previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (experience is a bonus, confidence is essential!)
- May have experience in support and care work
- Calm, patient, and resilient individuals who can adapt to change
- Someone who thrives in an ever‑changing SEN environment
- Strong communication skills and a clear commitment to safeguarding
Requirements (or willingness to obtain)
To work in this role, you must be 18+ and either already have or be happy to apply for:
- Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
- Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service
- Level 2 Safeguarding training
- Two professional references covering a 24‑month period

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
