SEN Teaching Assistant – PMLD

We are seeking for a several SEN Teaching Assistants to support young people with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), complex medical needs and physical disabilities. The setting offers highly personalised education, support and a strong multidisciplinary team, with excellent facilities designed to meet complex needs.
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with PMLD in a nurturing, structured environment. This is a hands-on role involving personal care and close support throughout the school day.
The role includes:

Supporting pupils with PMLD in class and during therapy-based activities

Assisting with personal care, feeding and mobility
-
Helping deliver sensory, communication and life skills learning
-
Working closely with teachers, therapists and staff
-
Promoting engagement, life skills and wellbeing throughout the day
We are looking for someone who:
-
Has experience with complex needs, PMLD or care support (desirable)

Is patient, calm and attentive to individual needs
-
Is comfortable providing personal care
-
Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Is reliable and committed to consistent support for pupils

Full-time hours: 8:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, based in Meldreth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
