SEN Teaching Assistant – SEN Hub (Mainstream Primary School)
Gorton, Manchester (M18)
Full-Time Hour, 8.30-3.30pm
Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gorton (M18) to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the school's dedicated SEN Hub.
This rewarding role involves working with children who have a range of additional needs, including complex and high-level SEN. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop social and communication skills, and achieve positive outcomes in a nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored support to pupils with a variety of special educational needs.
- Assisting with the delivery of personalised learning activities and interventions.
- Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- Promoting a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Recording progress and contributing to pupil development plans.

The ideal candidate will have previous SEN experience in a school setting, strong communication skills, and a patient, proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
