Teaching Personnel are seeking compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team. The ideal candidates will have experience working with children with special educational needs and must have up-to-date Moving and Handling training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with physical and learning disabilities

  • Assist with personal care and mobility, ensuring safe manual handling practices

  • Support the delivery of tailored educational activities under the guidance of the class teacher

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children with special needs

  • Valid and current Moving & Handling training certification

  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
