Teaching Personnel are working with a large, well-established primary school in Hounslow to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their specialist SEN provision. The Role
You will primarily be based within the school's specialist SEN provision unit, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- Complex Learning Difficulties
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
Working alongside experienced teachers and SEN professionals, you will provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils access learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering personalised support for pupils with SEN
- Supporting communication, social development and independence
- Assisting with SEN interventions and personalised learning programmes
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Building strong relationships with pupils, families and staff
- Helping create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

Ideal Experience
- SEN Teaching Assistant experience
- CACHE Level 2, Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of Autism, ADHD or communication needs
- School, care, youth work or psychology background
- Experience supporting children with additional or complex needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
