Job description
1:1 Reception Teaching Assistant
Location: Horsham
Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only
We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in our Reception class at a welcoming primary school in Horsham.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role

Provide 1:1 support for a child in Reception, both in and out of the classroom

Support learning, play, communication and social development
-
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement support strategies

Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
-
Has experience working with young children (EYFS experience desirable)
-
Is patient, kind and reliable, with a positive attitude
-
Can use initiative while working as part of a team
-
Has a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
