About the Role
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in schools across Hinckley. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Support students’ emotional, social, and behavioural development
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
