Join our Special Education Team this March and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people! Set on five acres, our school supports students aged 5–16 with Communication and Interaction difficulties. Many pupils have Autism traits (diagnosis not essential) and hold full EHCPs. They work towards mainstream milestones, including SATs and GCSEs. 

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting 1:1 or small groups in SEMH or complex needs settings

• Bonus: training in Safeguarding, Makaton, PECS, Team Teach ✔️

• Passion for nurturing social, emotional & mental health needs ❤️

• Resilient, calm, flexible, with endless patience

• Full-time commitment

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

• Overseas Check if lived abroad for 6+ months in last 5 years

• Up-to-date CV highlighting hands-on SEN experience

• Ideally, previous SEMH school experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
