SEN Teaching Assistant – Exeter

Location: Exeter, Devon
Pay: £84.50 - £90.00 per day
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you want to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Exeter.

Role Overview:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who have a range of special educational needs, providing 1:1 and group support to help them thrive in their educational environment. You will collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support individual learning plans and ensure every child receives the tailored assistance they need.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, or other learning difficulties) is desirable
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children
  • A desire to make a real difference in the lives of young learners
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service, or a willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
