Job description

Did you know you don’t need any specific qualifications to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant? If you have experience with SEN children in your professional or personal life then this could be the career for you.

Teaching Personnel have been contacted by a brilliant SEN school in the Exeter area looking for a teaching assistant to join their team. We are looking for patient, caring, empathetic individuals who can assist in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and guidance to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities –

  • Desire to help build a inclusive, supportive classroom environment
  • Ability to build strong, consistent relationships with the students
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Comfortable 1:1 and in small groups
  • Driving licence is desired but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
