Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – Exeter
Full-Time Opportunity | Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to support students within secondary schools across the Exeter area.
This rewarding role will involve supporting pupils with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties on both a 1:1 basis and in small group settings.
The role:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN
- Support pupils both academically and emotionally
- Help manage behaviour and encourage engagement in learning
- Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO teams
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Be confident building positive relationships with students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
