SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel, working in collaboration with outstanding primary SEN schools in Crawley, is actively seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Hours: Full-time positions available

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to pupils with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, SLD, PMLD, and mobility needs
• Assist in a range of subjects and extracurricular activities
• Implement adaptive and nurturing strategies to address associated behavioural needs
• Engage students in creative activities such as phonics, soft and messy play, arts and crafts, play-doh, singing, and dancing

Requirements:

• Passion for supporting students with special educational needs
• Adaptability, resilience, and a nurturing approach
• Enhanced Child Only DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
