Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Camberley (GU15)
Contract: Full-Time, Part-time, Term-Time Only
⏰Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Weekdays only
️Start Date: September 2025

Pay: £89 - £105 per day

In these rewarding roles, you will work closely with pupils, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalised learning plans that foster development and independence. Whether your expertise lies in working with children with autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or learning difficulties, your skills will be highly valued.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting individual pupils or small groups with a range of learning needs, helping to remove barriers to learning and enabling every child to reach their full potential. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support and create an inclusive, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide close support for pupils with special educational needs
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Promote a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and record pupils’ progress, feeding back to staff and parents
  • Help manage behaviour and emotional regulation using positive interventions

About You:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow direction and use initiative when required
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
