SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT – BURY


A school in Bury is on the lookout for a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant, and Teaching Personnel are representing them in their search. They need someone who knows what it means to support pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs and who brings a solid TA qualification plus real school-based SEN experience.


From 8:30am–3:30pm, you will be working side‑by‑side with teaching staff, guiding pupils through personalised tasks, helping deliver interventions, adapting activities so every child can access learning, and offering calm, consistent support throughout the day. You’ll also be involved in encouraging independence, tracking progress against individual plans, and helping create a positive, structured atmosphere that allows pupils to thrive.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
