Job description
SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT – BURY
A school in Bury is on the lookout for a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant, and Teaching Personnel are representing them in their search. They need someone who knows what it means to support pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs and who brings a solid TA qualification plus real school-based SEN experience.
From 8:30am–3:30pm, you will be working side‑by‑side with teaching staff, guiding pupils through personalised tasks, helping deliver interventions, adapting activities so every child can access learning, and offering calm, consistent support throughout the day. You’ll also be involved in encouraging independence, tracking progress against individual plans, and helping create a positive, structured atmosphere that allows pupils to thrive.
It’s full‑time, it’s rewarding, and the pay is competitive. The school is ready for someone dedicated, patient and proactive—if that sounds like you, this one’s worth exploring.
We look forward to hearing from you!
