Location: Burnley
Hours: 8:50am – 3:30pm (Monday – Friday, Term-Time Only)
Pay: £13.75 per hour

Are you a caring and resilient individual with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs? Do you have experience in care, support work, or social care and want to make a difference in an education setting?

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Secondary SEN school in Burnley, working with pupils who have a range of learning difficulties and additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students aged 11–16 with their learning, social, and emotional development

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support within the classroom

  • Assist with personal care when required (training can be provided)

  • Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to implement tailored support plans

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
