Part-Time Teaching Assistant – Year 2 (BH23 Area)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming and supportive schools in the BH23 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant Year 2 classroom, supporting young learners at a crucial stage in their education.
The Role:
- Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant
- Year Group: Year 2
- Schedule: 5 mornings per week
- Location: BH23
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
- Provide pastoral support, helping to create a positive learning environment
- Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with primary-aged children (ideally KS1)
- Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Show a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Hold relevant qualifications or be willing to undergo training (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
