Part-Time Teaching Assistant – Year 2 (BH23 Area)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming and supportive schools in the BH23 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant Year 2 classroom, supporting young learners at a crucial stage in their education.

The Role:

• Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant
• Year Group: Year 2
• Schedule: 5 mornings per week
• Location: BH23

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
• Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
• Provide pastoral support, helping to create a positive learning environment
• Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with primary-aged children (ideally KS1)
• Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Show a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Hold relevant qualifications or be willing to undergo training (desirable but not essential)
