SEN Teaching Assistant

Bedford
Start: April 2026 (after Easter break)
Full Time
Until Summer Break (July 2026)
£95 – £105 per day

A welcoming and community-driven primary school in Bedford is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the school. As part of a respected multi-academy trust, the school benefits from shared resources, strong SEN frameworks, and a collaborative team culture.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Assist with both academic and emotional development
  • Help manage behaviour positively and effectively
  • Work as part of a close-knit support team

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Previous SEN experience (school or similar setting)
  • Nurturing and adaptable approach
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils
  • Team player with a proactive mindset

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
