We are seeking a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting supporting pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), communication needs, sensory needs, and complex medical requirements.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with Autism, severe learning difficulties and complex additional needs
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual learning and care plans
- Assist with communication, social interaction and engagement in learning activities
- Support pupils with sensory regulation and emotional wellbeing
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, nurses and wider multidisciplinary teams
- Encourage independence and celebrate individual progress
- Support positive behaviour through a nurturing, person-centred approach
- Assist with personal care where required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
