SEN Teacher Wanted - Make a Lasting Difference

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for your next rewarding role?

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teachers to work across a range of specialist SEN schools in Bristol, supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs including Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Complex Needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Support pupils with a range of SEN including Autism, SEMH, ADHD, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and wider school staff.
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to support pupil development.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
