We are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers for a range of special schools, alternative provisions and mainstream schools with specialist SEN settings across Guildford and the surrounding areas.

The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging, supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables every pupil to achieve their potential.
Depending on the setting, you may be supporting pupils with:

Autism and complex learning needs

Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)

Moderate or severe learning difficulties
-
Communication and interaction needs
-
Behavioural and additional learning needs
Your responsibilities may include:

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

Creating personalised learning opportunities
-
Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
-
Managing behaviour positively and effectively
-
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and wider support teams

Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies
-
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
-
Contributing to an inclusive and nurturing school environment
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from qualified teachers who have:
-
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
-
Experience working with pupils with SEN
-
A genuine passion for inclusive education
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
A patient, adaptable and nurturing approach
-
The ability to differentiate learning to meet individual needs
We are also keen to hear from teachers with mainstream experience who are looking to move into SEN education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
