Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic SEN Teachers to join a supportive specialist school in Wokingham. This rewarding opportunity involves working with pupils with a range of learning needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), communication needs, and associated sensory and emotional regulation needs.

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences that support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and life skills development. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated to achieve their individual goals.

Pupils within the school follow highly adapted curriculums and benefit from practical, hands-on learning opportunities that promote independence, communication, confidence, and wellbeing. Learning is often supported through sensory activities, structured teaching approaches, and meaningful real-life experiences.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have a passion for supporting children and young people with SEND.
• Be nurturing, patient, and resilient in their approach.
• Be confident adapting lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
• Create engaging learning environments that promote participation and success.
• Be committed to supporting pupils' independence, communication skills, and personal development.

Experience That Would Be Beneficial:

• Working within SEN, specialist, mainstream inclusion, or alternative provision settings.
• Supporting pupils with Autism, MLD, SLD, communication needs, or complex learning needs.
• Using creative, sensory, or play-based learning approaches.
• Delivering highly personalised learning programmes.
