SEN Teacher – Mainstream Primary (New Provision)
Location: Blackpool
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking mainstream primary school in Blackpool, who have recently opened a brand-new SEN provision within their setting. Due to this exciting development, the school are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team from September.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing provision, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs within a nurturing, inclusive environment.
You will:
- Plan and deliver tailored, engaging lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
- Support pupils with a range of needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language)
- Work collaboratively with support staff, the SENCO, and external professionals
- Create a positive, structured learning environment that promotes progress and independence
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience (or a strong interest) in SEN / additional needs
- Is patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
- Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Works well as part of a supportive team
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
