Teaching Personnel are looking for teachers for cover requirements in a special needs schools in St Helens, Liverpool. QTS is preferred as planning and teaching small classes will be part of the role responsibilities. However, those with equivalent teaching qualifications/SEN teaching experience will be considered.

The school you will be working in will be catering for pupils from 3-11 years, with a range of SEN needs including medical needs, a diagnosis of autism, speech and language communication needs, challenging behaviour, Moderate Learning Difficulties and/or severe learning difficulties.

Location: St Helens, Liverpool

Role: Teacher (SEN)

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Fridays

We are encouraging applicants with SEN teaching experience in Special Need Schools, Pupil Referral Units, primary schools and/or nurseries and/or secondary schools to apply. 

You will have the following:   

  • Minimum 1 year relevant SEN/teaching experience
  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification
  • Full-time availability (Mon to Fri 8:30 - 3:30pm)
  • A valid DBS Certificate (on the update service) that will need to be taken to the school on first day - or be willing to apply for one (Teaching Personnel can assist you in this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
