SEN Teacher
Templecombe | Full-Time | September Start
The Opportunity
A specialist setting is seeking a committed Class Teacher to support pupils aged 6 to 13 with SEMH needs and additional learning difficulties.
This is a chance to work in a nurturing environment where every pupil is supported to develop confidence, independence and a positive relationship with learning.
The Role
- Deliver a broad and flexible curriculum tailored to individual needs
- Teach small groups (typically up to 8 pupils)
- Support emotional development alongside academic progress
- Apply consistent and positive behaviour strategies
- Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience or strong interest in SEN, particularly SEMH
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches creatively
- Calm, resilient and empathetic nature
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
