SEN Teacher 

Templecombe | Full-Time | September Start

The Opportunity

A specialist setting is seeking a committed Class Teacher to support pupils aged 6 to 13 with SEMH needs and additional learning difficulties.

This is a chance to work in a nurturing environment where every pupil is supported to develop confidence, independence and a positive relationship with learning.

 

The Role

  • Deliver a broad and flexible curriculum tailored to individual needs
  • Teach small groups (typically up to 8 pupils)
  • Support emotional development alongside academic progress
  • Apply consistent and positive behaviour strategies
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists

 

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience or strong interest in SEN, particularly SEMH
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches creatively
  • Calm, resilient and empathetic nature
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
