Job description

SEN Teacher – Sensory Stage 2 Class 

We are urgently seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our specialist school supporting children and young people aged 4–16 with complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

About the Role:

  • Teach a Sensory Stage 2 class of 9 pupils with complex needs

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised learning experiences

  • Work 5 days a week supporting the holistic development of pupils

  • Collaborate with a passionate multidisciplinary team within a specialist school

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with complex needs

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Driving licence

  • Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service (eligible for fast-track recruitment)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
