We are seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher with QTS to join a highly regarded specialist learning environment supporting young people aged 11 to 18.
This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering secondary teaching opportunities within a setting that truly prioritises student wellbeing, structure and progress.
The provision supports students with severe autism and Asperger’s, delivering highly personalised education in a calm, purposeful and nurturing environment.
Working hours are typically 8.45am to 4.45pm, with some weekday end times varying.

Your Role

Deliver engaging, adapted lessons across the secondary age range

Support students with severe autism and Asperger’s to access learning

Create a structured, safe and consistent classroom environment

Work collaboratively with support staff and specialists

Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Essential Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Minimum 6 months of childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN
-
Confident, calm and resilient teaching approach

Driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school’s location

Commitment to full-time work and safeguarding standards

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
