Teaching Personnel's Norwich SEN Team is seeking enthusiastic Supply SEN Teachers to work across specialist schools and alternative provisions in Lowestoft and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who thrive in diverse educational settings and are committed to supporting pupils with additional needs.

About the Role

As a Supply SEN Teacher, you'll deliver high-quality teaching across a range of specialist settings, supporting pupils with a variety of needs including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and other additional learning needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of your pupils.
  • Adapting teaching strategies to ensure all learners can access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where every pupil feels supported.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and wider multidisciplinary teams.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for teachers who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Have experience teaching or supporting children with Special Educational Needs, or a genuine passion for SEN education.
  • Are adaptable, resilient and confident working in a variety of specialist school environments.
  • Have excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as travel between schools and specialist provisions is an essential part of this supply role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
