Job description

Immediate Start – SEMH Secondary Teacher (All-Boys) – Great Yarmouth

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEMH Secondary Teacher to join an all-boys SEMH school in Great Yarmouth. This is a full-time role, starting immediately, supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to secondary pupils with SEMH needs
  • Provide support and guidance tailored to individual student needs
  • Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate with staff to implement effective behaviour management strategies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Secondary Teacher with experience in SEMH or similar settings
  • Full UK driving licence essential (school requires flexibility in travel)
  • Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only) on the Update Service highly desirable
  • Strong classroom management skills and patience to support SEMH learners
  • Passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives
