SEN Teacher Wanted – BS11 Area!
Key Stage Three
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full-time (Monday to Friday, term-time only)
Location: BS11, Bristol
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a SEN Teacher, ideally with an English background, to support a small Key Stage Three class with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). This rewarding role involves delivering a tailored curriculum to students with a range of additional needs, with the daily support of dedicated teaching assistants.
Your students may face challenges including:
• Mental health difficulties
• ♿ Physical disabilities
• Emotional or behavioural needs

✅ Deliver engaging and accessible lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum
✅ Adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
✅ Mark and assess work, providing constructive, tailored feedback
✅ Set clear, achievable learning goals
✅ Build trust and create a calm, supportive learning environment
About You – Our Ideal Teacher:
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in English, ideally with experience at KS3/KS4
• Effective behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
• Experience working with SEN students (preferred but not essential)
• Patient, resilient and passionate about inclusive education
• Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
