Job description

Are you a compassionate, motivated graduate ready to begin a rewarding career supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN teacher or Graduate SEN Teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience, work alongside skilled SEN professionals, and develop the skills needed for a future career in teaching or specialist education.

What You’ll Do:
• Support students with Special Educational Needs in both 1:1 and small-group settings
• Help adapt learning activities to meet individual student needs
• Work closely with teachers and SEN specialists to create inclusive, engaging lessons
• Encourage students’ confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students
• Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and strategies
• Contribute to a calm, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Take part in training, mentoring, and professional development focused on SEN education
• Get involved in school life, enrichment activities, and student support programmes

• A passionate graduate interested in supporting children with Special Educational Needs
• Someone patient, empathetic, and committed to inclusive education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn and develop professionally
• The ability to remain calm, positive, and resilient in challenging situations
• A genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
