Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We are recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in the M12 area of Manchester from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with additional needs, or for a caring individual looking to develop their career within education.
The Role
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
- Supporting children with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
- Working closely with teaching staff to implement tailored learning strategies.
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
- Patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.
- A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
