Teaching Personnel are recruiting for multiple SEN Support Assistant roles. If you have an interest in SEN Education, then please enquire within!
Role: SEN Support Assistant
Locations: Hackney, Newham, Waltham Forest, Redbridge
Start Date: Immediate Start
Job Type: Part-Time, Full-Time, Permanent & Contract roles
Salary: Up to £105 per day
Schedule: 8:30AM – 3:30PM, Monday to Friday
Duties:
- Multiple dynamic SEN Support Assistant roles across East London
- Support students aged 4-18 y.o with SEN and Behavioural needs
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Communicate and work effectively with other school staff
- Role model positive attitudes, values and behaviours to students
- Promote & encourage inclusion, compassion & learning to both students & staff
- Work and collaborate with other Behaviour Support Assistant s within the team

- Previous SEN Support Assistant experience

- Engaging, proactive, energetic personality
- Dedication to ensuring high expectations for all children
- Are confident in supporting a variety of learners, including SEN children
- Experience working in a school setting or experience in a relatable setting.
- ASD, SEMH, PMLD, Pru, MLD, SLD experience (Any relevant experience is desirable)
- Support Workers, Youth Workers, Sport Coaches, Counsellors, Mental Health Workers & Nursery workers are encouraged to apply
Required:
- Have the right to work in UK
- DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one
- Minimum of 2 references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
