SEN Pupil Support Assistant – SEN Primary School | Stockport | Full-Time
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference every day? A welcoming SEN primary school in the Stockport area is looking for a caring and motivated SEN Pupil Support Assistant to join their team.
This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. You will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide both classroom and 1:1 support, helping pupils engage with learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals.
The school offers a supportive and inclusive environment with excellent SEN facilities, small class sizes, and experienced staff dedicated to pupil progress and wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN support staff or candidates with transferable experience from care, youth work, coaching, or support roles.
The Role:
• Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Help pupils access learning and daily routines
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
