SEN Teacher – Primary Setting
Location: Bolton

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference? Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary setting in the Bolton area to recruit an inspiring educator to support pupils with additional needs.

About the Role

You will be working with pupils aged 4–11, supporting a range of Special Educational Needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Moderate learning difficulties

The school prides itself on its warm, supportive atmosphere, with a strong focus on personalised learning, positive behaviour strategies, and close collaboration between staff, families, and external professionals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and social development
  • Implement EHCP targets and track pupil progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCO and external agencies
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEN in a primary setting
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
