SEN Learning Support Assistant

Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist secondary and post-16 school supporting young people aged 11-19 with Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Your Role

  • Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Help students engage with creative, practical, and sensory learning.
  • Encourage communication, social skills, and independence.
  • Celebrate progress and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to meet individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
