Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Redhill, Surrey
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract Type: Full-time / Term-time only

About the Role
We’re looking for friendly, caring, and motivated SEN Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist school in Redhill. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with additional needs, helping them feel confident, included, and ready to learn.

Every day is different in this role—you’ll be supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom, encouraging their progress, and celebrating their achievements along the way.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Helping to bring lessons to life in a way that suits each child’s needs
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
  • Assisting with communication and social development
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide the best support possible
  • Creating a warm, safe, and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone patient, positive, and genuinely passionate about helping children
  • Experience with SEN (in schools, care, or similar settings) is helpful but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning
  • Relevant qualifications are a bonus, but we welcome people with the right attitude and enthusiasm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
