Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a hard working, empathetic, resilient and qualified Teacher for a role in a Berkshire based SEN School. 

The School caters for pupils who are struggling to remain in mainstream education and candidates applying for this role should have experience working with students who have special educational needs. 

The candidate applying for this role, will have, a teaching qualification and the ability to deliver lessons to KS1/2 pupils. The candidate must have experience working with children who have SEN and / or display challenging behaviours. 

The role is full time, starting in January 2021 and is secured for a full year, due to a maternity leave. 

The candidate should be available full time, be looking for a long term position and hold strong behaviour management skills. 

The school hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday and candidates will be expected to interview with the head teacher prior to the role commencing. 

The role will be ideal for a candidate who has worked in an SEN setting before, however, this is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
